Language Training

Swedish as a second language has become more and more important over the years. Since the fifties and sixties Sweden has integrated a large number of immigrants from various countries. These people have experienced the extreme importance of learning Swedish in order to function in the Swedish society. Being able to communicate in a correct and efficient way is an asset that should not be underestimated. For those of you who have been abroad, you know how much easier life can be if you can understand the local language.

In the context of language teaching, we also attach importance to our culture and our practices. We want to increase your intercultural knowledge so that you will be able to better understand why things are the way they are, why people say what they say and do what they do. This may, in a decisive way, increase your quality of life in your new country, not least by higher efficiency at your work place.


Guided Tours

Whether you come to Gothenburg as a tourist or as a worker/student, the city is probably almost completely unknown to you. As a tourist you can have a guided tour individually or as part of a group, 1.5-2 hours, or longer should you so wish. You will learn a little bit about the history, geography and architecture of Gothenburg plus much more. You will also get suggestions about nice activities, museums restaurants etc. If you are among those who will stay in Gothenburg a little longer, you will of course be very pleased to ”learn” your new city, just as it is important to learn the new language. You can have one or more detailed guided tours, individually or in a group, and get a deeper knowledge of Gothenburg. History, geography, industry, politics, recreation, culture, sports etc., are some of the areas you will find out more about.
